Elandskop Museum

Elandskop museum is named after the local “koppie” which was an important heliograph station during the Anglo Boer War 1899-1902.
This hill was also made famous by the Boer General, CR De Wet who used it as his hide out now and then.

Elandskop will be opening its doors in 2016 and will be focusing on the South African War (Anglo Boer War 1899-1902) and general South African history. After the much anticipated Concentration Cycle Tour, the museum will be home to the Reconciliation Monument, a first in the history of South Africa!
To experience our zip line from the top of Elandskop hill, a tram through the Riemland farms, locally produced arts & crafts and a place to stay, visit Elandskop in 2016.
